Hackuity Secures $19m for AI-Powered Vulnerability Management Platform

Hackuity, a Lyon-based cybersecurity firm, has raised $19 million in a funding round led by Forgepoint Capital to advance its AI-powered vulnerability management capabilities.
The new capital brings the company’s total funding to $38 million. Hackuity intends to use the investment to accelerate the development of its vulnerability operations platform, strengthen its artificial intelligence features, and drive international expansion across Europe and Asia.
Automating Vulnerability Prioritisation
The company’s platform aggregates and normalises vulnerability and asset data from more than 130 different security products. By integrating threat intelligence and business context, the system helps organisations identify which security flaws present the highest risk.
The platform’s scoring engine evaluates several critical factors, including vulnerability severity, exploitability, asset criticality, and potential business impact. Once risks are identified, the tool is designed to coordinate remediation efforts across security, IT, cloud, and engineering teams.
Addressing Growing Security Volumes
Hackuity’s growth comes as organisations struggle with the increasing volume of security findings produced by scanners, cloud security tools, application security products, and AI systems. Patrick Ragaru, CEO and co-founder of Hackuity, stated that the company was founded on the premise that vulnerability volumes would eventually exceed the capacity for manual management.
Ragaru noted that the emergence of the latest generation of AI-powered security models is accelerating this trend, increasing the necessity for automated approaches to prioritisation and remediation orchestration.
Founded in 2018, Hackuity previously secured approximately $13 million during a 2022 Series A round led by Bright Pixel Capital. Other participants in the current round included existing investors Bpifrance and Seventure Partners.
